DL933 (933GTA) "Sir Walter Raleigh"

New to Devon General in 1961 as DL933 “Sir Walter Raleigh”. It lost its name in 1979 when it received a uni-bus ad’ for Launa Windows
In June 1981 its top was used to re-roof a newer Atlantean, No.541, which had been decapitated by the Sharon House Railway bridge in Torquay.
933 served DG until withdrawal in 1982 when it was sold to London Transport where it ran on sightseeing tours of the capital.
Sadly, it was sold for scrap in 1990 by its last London owner, Cityrama.
